Pencil skirt made from pink jacquard. It’s based on Burda 2/2011 pattern which I really like. It’s nice, easy to sew, well fitted and very comfortable. The only problem I had, was sewing a zipper. I just don’t know how to sew it on my machine so I hand – picked it!
pink jacquard – a very nice material to sew!

It turned out beautifully! Like you I think it is easier (and more satisfying) to sew zippers in by hand. Viva la couture!
