The Strawberry Tart Apron is my version of The Sewing Republic Two Tone Apron. I widened the three main pieces, allowing for more gathering at the waist. I also curved the lower corners of the apron and added a wide, pleated ruffle around the hem. Finally, I decided to make the entire thing reversible so I can wear either side out. I chose not to include a pocket as I don’t use them on aprons and my preschooler likes to hang on them, so my apron pockets often end up getting ripped off! The apron ties are long enough that you can tie a bow in the back, loop it around your waist and tie a bow in the front, or loop it around your waist and let the ties hang down the front (pictured below). I feel like a fabulous, 1950s housewife when I cook in this apron :-)
