Bath Ish, United...
I named this after my favourite Coldplay song, because of the pretty picture on the chair swing :D
A revamp project, I made this Romper out of an old pair of Monsoon kids trousers (7-8 years! i told you I was tiny) with a little stretch. the print is really vibrant and pretty, so I couldn’t get rid of them.
First, I chopped the bottom off of the trousers and hemmed the shorts. i cut the seams of the trousers and sewed each leg together before putting in my first darts ever to make a fitted bodice. Easier than you think if you have stretchy material!
Before & after pictures attached, although I apologise for the pigsty of a backdrop, i need better photography skills too :)
I didn’t sew the two pieces together for ease of access, preferring to just pull the shorts over the bodice to hide this. In theory, its still a Playsuit… ish….
