Description

I made this jacket for my friend Kate’s birthday a few years ago. We used to run Cath Kidston NYC together, and I made this jacket out of a strawberry print oil cloth table cloth. Used Built By Wendy pattern 3694.

Material Notes

Cath Kidston oilcloth (pvc coated cotton broadcloth) lined with white cotton broadcloth with little flocked polka dots

The strawberry oilcloth is thinner than most of her others… so it was pretty manageable. I’m going to try to make one for myself with some ottoman rose oilcloth next, which is the heavier cotton duck coated in pvc. Let’s hope it works out well!
