This is a fun bag upcycle I whipped up from a mat/doilie I picked up at the thrift shop for $0.50. I just loved the cute strawberries! I paired it with some dark denim I had left over from a skinny jeans project. I designed the bag and embroidered small turquoise beads and a great ceramic button from Vancouver. It was great fun to make and good to know you can turn a fifty cent find into a stylish bag!
Linen doilie (front flap), stretch denim (body of bag), light iron-on interfacing (on denim pieces), quilting cotton (lining), glass beads, ceramic button
