This beautiful party dress is great for any occasion. It is darted on the bodice on both sides and bottom and features a black waistband and a grey knife pleated skirt. The bodice is completly lined in black and features a lace overlay on the front of the dress.

hi, how did you sew the lace overlay onto the other fabric. im making a formal dress.and the front panel of the bodice is going to have a lace overlay. i pinned around the edge and sewed the 2 pieces together so i could use it as just one piece. but the satin and the lace sewn together bubbled and didnt sew flat. did you use a tear away or interfacing underneath yours? or pin it all over? email me please spiffalici0us@hotmail.com thankyou

I absolutely love this! Gray is the new black, anyway – and I think it looks like it could be from anthropologie. Great work! Oh, and you look lovely in it! :)
