This is a story bag that one of the teachers asked me to make. He teaches lower ability readers and likes to use lots of visual props and things to help them, and he asked for a bag for all his props.
Its made from all my scraps and I’ve appliqued all the main pictures with a satin stitch. I also got to try out the lettering on my new Brother sewing machine!
I used an old curtain for the main bag and a broken belt for the handles.
I really enjoyed this project.
The teacher really liked it…phew!
