ok, this is a work in progress. I drew the stocking on paper and cut it out. Must have done a really bad job because the next day my husband threw it away because apparently it was not recognizable as my work product insert blank stare. Anyway, I made him make me a new paper pattern. I made these two with some scraps we had around.
I think it needs to be a little shorter (2"?) and flare out a little more at the top. Will update you when I re-work it. Ideally, I would do them in upholstery fabric with fur and jewel embellishment.
I’m seriously freestyling with this project so any advice is most welcome!
sample made in cotton with plush trim. plan is to make out of upholstery fabric with faux fur and jewel embellishment

ok, I made 3 from ACTUAL, nice fabric. Mainly faux fur. I’m pretty pleased with how then turned out. I tried glitter on the black one and the white one. I have some scraps of purple metallic that I think I will use to trim the white one and will add a bit more of the purple glitter (because glitter makes everything more festive, n’est ce pas?
