Description

Reversible pinafore dress, made for my daughter 20 years ago. Has been in virtually constant use since! My sisters and I wanted to see how long it would last, so it has been worn almost non-stop by various little girls since 1989!! Known by us as “the Goosey dress”- my daughter has asked for it back, as she now has a little girl of her own.

How lovely that you had family to pass the garment onto. When I think of the clothes I made for my only son – and me being an only child too ! I do recall that we had a sale of items to other young mums, so I wonder if anything survived that long — I shouldn’t imagine so! And so many memories along the way !

I agree, it was top quality – and it’s only faded a little!
