I tried to do these last year and wasn’t very happy with the product. Really thrilled with how they came out this year. Instead of trying to free-hand it, I actually traced my own boot and used the hip curve ruler to refine the lines. I also stopped being lazy and clipped my curves so that I didn’t have puckering.
They are 22" high and perfect to present small gift items.
you can use just about any fabric. But the wool, denim and upholstery fabric ones are coming out best. Embellishing with things like glitter, bells and other holiday trims.
