The moment I saw this jacket I wanted one! I did it together with my mom, because she has a lot of experience with sewing and this was my first attempt in sewing and I was afraid I’ll ruin it :D The sleeves could’ve been a little bit longer (next time I’ll lenghten the pattern) and the arm wholes are a little bit too big I think, because we cut out size 40 (which should’ve been the right size after measuring), but had to take away a lot of fabric.
But I’m totally confident with it and have to thank my mom a lot, alone it would have been a lot more difficult.
I love this jacket and my matching Alexis skirt :)

I love your jacket and skirt! You look like a cool and classy Oxford Student from the 40s who is musing about poetry on a country side walk! I love the look! I was planning to sew the Steffi jackat with matching skirt as well, because I found really nice and cheap wool fabric, but I have never done a jacket before and now I’m a little afraid of the two missing instruction pages…hmmm…I guess I’ll try it anyways…

a beautiful outfit. The material is great. Quite an accomplishment for a first project even with help. The jacket, material, and colors look great on you. Well done!

Thanks at all for your nice comments :)
peaudane: There I have to say thanks again to my mom, she knows the way to sew jackets, so we didn’t need the instructions.
