This is a pattern by Stefanel from the spanish magazine Patrones nr. 262. It was quite a challenge for me because it was my first piece with collar and lining, besides the fabric is very thick and I’d almost thought that machine couldn’t sew it but it did :) Another thing quite challenging was achieve a straight topstitching. In the end it all turned out exactly as I wished.
I’m very proud of this project.
Thick fabric 70% polyester 30% viscose (it seems felted wool). Lining is heavy and smooth (and it was very cheap) but I don't know the composition. 3 big buttons and 2 smaller ones
My friend Ines whom encouraged me to make this cape :)
My mum whom taught me the invisible stitch for the hemming and for the lining!

You have every right to be proud of your cape. This is elegant. I would have thought that it was boiled wool. Nehmah
