I didn’t have access to a sewing machine, but I had get this done in a short amount of time, so I had to sew the entire thing by hand. I think it turned out ok. I modified the JJ #6009 pattern to make the jacket.
I didn’t make the corset, though I am planning on making one in the near future.

By hand? Impressive. Can’t wait to see what to see what you do when you get a machine.

It didn’t turn out “ok”, it turned out brilliant! I love it! I’ve always loved hounds-tooth, but this color combo is a real winner. The detail in the jacket is great and hard to believe you did it by hand. I <3 the big gun.

I’m impressed! Hand sewing the entire jacket is a hand cramp waiting to happen. LOL This turned out so nice and looks absolutely fabulous! Great job!

You hand sewed the whole thing? Really? It looks fantastic! Your stitches are so even I couldn’t tell! I like the lapels.
