Burda Style For people who sew
Description
The crazy vintage fabric dictated a retro style dress. I didn’t have a pattern for my vision, so I designed a wide V-neck bodice cut on the bias with kimono sleeves and three underbust released darts. (those darts sort of messed with the chicken chevron idea in an unappealing way). The bodice connects to a simple waistband that I simple gathered the skirt to. More here
