This looked like a nice simple pattern to use up some strange fabric in my stash- a super stretchy green and some non-stretchy off-white lace. Kind of an odd combo, but I think it worked in the end.
Before I did the neckline, I thought it was too baggy and shapeless, and wanted to add on a waistband. But that green is REALLY stretchy and a bit unmanageable and I couldn’t get it do do what I wanted. So after the neckline it seemed to hang a bit better, and using the fabric I cut for the waistband as a tied belt seemed to solve any issue I had.
Bizarre combo of two relatively sheer fabrics- thin stretchy green and lace….
