A mini dress from my favorite pattern, Simplicity’s Built by Wendy 3835 (now out of print but may be found on eBay or such places).
Made in dotted cotton voile print that reminds me of the night sky. The sleeve and sleeve ties in the pattern were way too long so I had to redraft the pattern to shorten them.
I added a slouchy pocket that I drafted myself. Basically I took the existing pocket pattern, cut the top part and added seam allowance to create the pocket edge. Then I redrafted the bottom/rest of the pocket so it would be wider at the opening edge. This wider edge was gathered and sewn into the previously mentioned top part and then placed on the dress (like a patch pocket).

Hi Cotton Cherry, thank you! The back of the dress looks just like the front except there are 2 long back darts which would be difficult to photograph b/c of the print.
