I saw this black stretch velvet with gold glitter fabric and it reminded me of a dark starry night. I wanted to make it romantic and sexy and so it could be worn in all seasons. With a few accessories it can be rock or romantic.
I first draped a one shoulder tank mini dress. Then, draped and hand sewed the sleeve on. All edges are turned under and hand sewn. After wearing it for a brief period I am going to add little fabric weights to the bottom so it drapes a little better. I made my own pattern.
Black stretch velvet with gold glitter, thread, soon to be weights.
