I made this moonbag for my 3 year old daughter for our world wide trip mid 2009. I found the pattern in an old Womens Weekly sewing book from the 80’s. She loved it as she is called Moonface most times! It was also a god send on those 24 hour flights and in airports. I just rolled it up and as I used a thinnish foam insert I could squash it up quite small in our suitcase. Was a little troublesome to put together so I procrastinated on making it til the week before we went. Pressure always helps!
quilted batting dyed blue, applique face, foam matteress insert, cotton lining and pillow
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
