an attempt at a standing collar shirt. I am semi-pleased with the result. I got this plaid fabric on clearance, so I’m not heartbroken that it only turned out okay.

I think I used a built by wendy pattern for the shirt shape and then added the standing collar.

The first and third photos almost make the material look like fleece. Which makes me wonder what a shirt like that would look like in a fleece? COZY! Very cute design!

I love the collar! This actually looks similar to a dress that I made, but in shirt form :)

That collar looks awesome, it’s very flattering.

thanks! ink- I’m pretty sure I used the BBW simplicity pattern 3835 (I could go back and look through my blog to be sure) and then instead of putting the elastic on the top I added the collar.

Me too, I agree! I love it and I love the sleeves how they extend into the shoulders and up to the collar. Really suits the high collar. Which built-by Wendy pattern did you use for that shirt part!
Great job!
