After giving my mother a book on Frida Kahlo’s clothes, I saw the traditional mexican blouses are made from simple squares of material. I figured this would not be too difficult to draft myself and gave it a shot with a piece of silk. I ended up using some senegalese wax print to make a border. It falls quite nicely on and I am quite happy with the result…
