Ridgewood, New Y...
Hello Burda Community!
So this is the first project I’m posting here!
First off I had this shoot and so little time to find anything so I decided to sew a few things.
This dress here is from the 07/2011 issue Dress and Pelerine
Instructions were a bit complicated in some areas and easy in others. I didn’t have a lot of time so I didn’t even make a muslin mock-up of it-just took the plunge!
I used a non-stretch black wool suiting twill. Very light weight and very elegant. The dress has two side slits and looks very vintage.
Please let me know what you think!
