This is the costume I made for my sister for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. She has wanted a Squall Leonhart costume for awhile now & since we were going to Disney she asked for the Kingdom Hearts version.
I modified the Emily pattern by:
*cutting the sleeves short
*cutting the body across at the waist mark
*removing the collar, & adding to the collar stand
*adding a zipper down the button facings in the front
My sister made the stencils for the jacket & brushed red screenprinting ink on once it was done.
For the pants, I pressed back the seam allowance on the sides and used that as facing for the 36" zippers.
top: Denim blue twill, red screenprinting ink, stencil, 4 studs, 22" metal separating zipper
pants: black twill, 2 – 36" zippers, 1- 7" zipper, button
