The JJ blouse pattern has become one of my favourites. It’s so versatile. My latest JJ blouse is in white cotton with 3/4 sleeves. I reduced the collar height and rounded off the edges. The ruffle edges are serged. After experimenting, it just looked better that way. One thing I learnt is that if you have previously sewn black fabric, thoroughly clean your machine before attempting to sew white. I’ve found tiny specks of black lint in the button holes and top stitching which is disappointing.

Its so crisp and clean. Looks just perfect for the office. Love the fabric. Black specks are a terrible. Maybe they will come out with the first good wash.
