Description

I found this picture in the Garnet Hill early summer catalog for a navy blue cropped linen jacket and fell in love with it. Apparently so did a lot of people- it sold out so very fast- enough to make your head spin! Heartbroken as I was, I decided to make one myself! And here it is! I used McCall’s pattern 5525, and just altered and made adjustments in the pattern where needed. This is my very first jacket ever- the pattern was so easy- even the lining and top-stitching was a cinch! The only thing I wish I would have done differently was use larger buttons.
