My daughter has gotten a lot of use out of this dress, so I’ll make it again. It’s a size 4 and she is 2 1/2. At first the back was too big, so I pleated the back a bit and that worked for a few months and then I was able to let it out now that she is even bigger. That was really handy.
The back straps are hooked (?) and difficult to iron, so the next time I make this I will just make criss-cross straps. The rest of the dress is a snap to iron.
I also made a matching purse/diaper bag that she likes toting around. :)
Trying to get a picure of I’Lee is like trying to get a picture of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster (which she must be a close relative to sometimes!), so I had to be very stealthy and take pictures over several wearings. Oh how she runs! Trying to comb hair is just as hard…
