For the first time in my life, I was inspired to be productive. The Alabama Studio Style contest had excelent pictures, and I thought I should look for inspiration and make a dress. At first I had this complicated plan involving 50s patterns, so I bought 5 meters of peach fabric, but a day after starting, I had a change of heart. The pianist in Said the Whale was wearing a great little shift at an olympic performance I attended, so then and there I reformulated my plan. I came out with a pattern I drew myself, and what is most arguably the best dress I have ever made.
Peach and White broad cloth, red embroidery thread, blue zipper (10")
