This is a jacket I made from some vintage fabric I had around the home. Its reversable, with pockets. It took about 5 meters of fabric. Im not sure how to upload a pattern yet. I made the pattern myself, and will give it a go if anyone is interested..
linen, silk mix

Thanks for the comments :) ..I have drawn it out and will try uploading it over the next week.. fingers crossed it works, as i am not very computer savy! Good idea on the belt, a kilt pin works well, it can also be worn double breasted if you sew on some buttons ( i intend to but am waiting for the right buttons to enter my life..

you have done an really amazing job! well done, it looks great. You could also use this pattern and make a light fabric jacket and then add a belt.

well I am interested!! I have a lot of fabric my grandma gave to me and I always want to make something that takes a lot of fabric so I won’t have small pieces left. I also am like a jacket adict… so.. please do, and thanks for shearing.
