Description

Made using a Amy Butler cotton (the dark) and a regular quilting cotton from JoAnn’s. Butterick 5319.

First time doing a side zipper and full linking. Yuck. Also, I, being awesome, managed to sew the dress slightly backwards, so the zipper is on the right instead of the left. Oops.

It looks good. It has a slight japanese flair to it. I mean, with the colours and the obi style center.

Such a beautilful dress! I believe no one cares where the zipper is, looks perfect anyway ;)

it’s so pretty! And if sewing things backwards makes one awesome, then I am the queen of awesomeness :) happens all the time… you did great!

This is a beautiful dress. Fresh and young! The end result is well worth the trouble it caused you.
