Fusible fleece is actually a material that is like a thin to medium batting that has a coating on one side that you can iron on to your fabric. It is usually adhered by placing the coated side down on the wrong side of your fashion fabric and pressing it with a steam iron. It is basically like an iron-on interfacing but it has a slight loft to it giving your outer fabric a soft, rather than stiff, feel. Hope I answered your question.

Its a lovely bag! I love the colours, and it looks so well made. Did you use interlining?

Thanks for your comment. Yes – I usually use fusible fleece in my bags. I am however having a hard time finding good quality fusible fleece. It seems to be getting thinner and thinner every time i buy it.

Don’t know why “Material” came up as “shirting”. Guess i clicked on something by mistake.
