Sometimes I need a break from sewing bags… and wedding season is fast approaching so I thought it would be fun to sew a cute dress.
I used McCalls Pattern M5382.
The fabric is a very light weight cotton that I found in one of the fabric shops on 39th St in NYC. I used a cotton lining (quilting weight) but if I were to make this dress again, I would definitely use something more silky… The dress seems a bit bulky but I guess that’s what I get for being impatient and not waiting to get the right supplies ;)
