wanted a new sundress for a trip to thailand, worked on the neckline on a train ride and converted it during many in service sessions… hmm… I can listen better when I sew! Honest! :) The dress is simple and easy to pack. I actually deconstructed an old bra and sewed it inside the dress to make it more brastrap friendly…
The fabric is simply jewel toned green cotton I found at a little stall in my town... The fabric you see is remnants from Christmas decorating projects! :)

Really cute. I love the front gathers. Genius idea to adapt the bra to the dress. i think a good bra is such a great thing.

The bra deconstruction is genius! Such a great use of tired old bras and wonderful solution to the ever so tiresome problem of hiding the bra straps. The color is truly beautiful and flattering and the material is perfect for travel. Love also the shape.
