This is a simple circle skirt pattern made of two layers, one of butterfly patterned chiffon and the other of static free lining.
It’s best to use 58in+ fabric for this pattern as the length takes up a lot of space. This pattern takes up a full circle. I made two circles, one of each fabric and hemmed them each individually before stitching them together at the top and using bias tape as an elastic casing.

That is beautiful. If you hemmed the skirt before you stitched the layers together, did you find the hem length is even from front to back? That would be my concern if I was making the same skirt for myself.

I actually didn’t have any trouble with length and any minor difference is covered by the way it falls. The inner layer of lining is shorter slightly because I wanted to make sure it was all the way behind the top layer. Thanks for commenting!

i love the fabric! it looks great. I love circle skirts, but HATE hemming them…such a pain! :)
