A project I worked on over Christmas, while I was away from my machine for 2 months, so it’s mostly sewn by hand. I must say, I love hand-overcasting – it keeps the seam allowances so pliable. For the buttons I randomly raided my collection (The pics show me I need to move the last two buttons in a bit…!)
As usual I couldn’t get the ‘based on’ link to work – BurdaStyle please make this feature easier to use! – but this is the Alexander Blouse, unchanged. I used some left-over cotton, which is a little too stiff for the Alexander – but the blouse is still cute, I think :-) Next time I’ll lengthen the peplum a bit, for a different effect.
