This is the second time I have used this pattern and I didn’t have to make any major alterations which is great! I did make it slightly longer than the pattern and instead of the bands at the bottom of the sleeves, I used shearing elastic to finish them off.
Crinkled chiffon fabric, navy buttons

This blouse is beautiful! cute and sophisticated, all at the same time! I tend to use elastic on my puffy, ruffly sleeves after too many battles with uneven ruffles and too tight/too loose sleeves. when you have so much detail elsewhere on a shirt, i think it makes for a much more even, fuss-free finish. the fact that it’s quicker and less fiddly helps too! well done!!
