This is my first attempt at a shrug designed around a pattern for one I already have but that is made out of heavier fabric. I wanted one that I could use in the summer either to add some warmth or to keep the sun off when I’m out on my bike. It’s a really simple pattern with only two seams (under the arms) to sew, plus the hems. The fabric was an offcut of spandex that cost about £3. This was also my first attempt stitching stretch fabric.
