This is a special skirt, made for a spacial occasion.
Used a beautiful dusky pink silk charmeuse, but I took the crepe side as the right side of the skirt.
The construction of the skirt was quite simple: I had two peaces of fabric 115cm long and 140cm wide and sewed the two sides together (on the right side stopped the seam where the zipper would end).
I made the waistband a little higher than the pattern told and then gathered the skirt to match the waistband. Sewed skirt and waistband together. Then I inserted the zipper and sewed the hem.
I´m very happy with the finished skirt :-)
