This is a gown made for a client to wear to a ball in February. I used Simplicity 2252 view A, Size 20, no changes. My client fit the muslin almost perfectly. I made one small bust adjustment at the upper bust. I also had to shorten the hem on the finished gown (not shown). The fabric is what makes the dress.
This took about 7 hours from cut to completion, but it was well worth it. I’m a slow (and anal) sewer. :)
Poly satin, invisible zipper, Rhinestone belt buckle (at strap)

Beautiful, but don’t be so modest, the fabric really is beautiful but your work is what makes the dress so special, i’ve seen a lot of beautiful fabrics ruined for a bad sewing job!!!
