Description

Shirt style inspired by a Mexican drawn thread work shirt my mom got in her 20s. I wanted gingham but the store didn’t have any so I went with small stars on a navy background instead. I like the illusion of gingham from a distance it creates. For more information and inspiration shirt go to http://gussyrose.blogspot.com/2010/09/day-94-spangled-shirt.html

I think it’s a nice alternative to gingham. I like the sleeves! How many pattern pieces are there? I would guess 1 or 2?

i really like the sleeves and relaxed fit. You’re right – it does look like gingham.
