I wanted to make another top to workout in, and I thought a bustier style top made in spandex would be super fantastic! I used the Bustier Dress pattern and just lengthened the mid pieces to make it into a top! Since I didn’t think the top would stay up on it’s own I drafted a top mesh piece to create an illusion neckline.
Within the top I also drafted some extra panels to add some style! For the bust pieces I used a leather-look spandex and for the body I used just a plain black spandex. This top turned out awesome, and I love how I can wear it to the gym and on the street!
I styled it here with some Black Milk Leggings and Jeffery Campbell spiked heels. Can’t wait to make another top in this style…this time I’ll add color.
