I love a good novelty fabric, and after seeing a few space themed dresses (such as this great one by laikadoll) I decided I needed to make one for myself! In the end I decided to make a skirt instead of a dress, but will probably make a top later on so that I can wear them together or separately. I also learnt how to do in-seam pockets so the skirt is not only awesome but practical!
