Description

An assignment for uni that had to be to the theme of “futuristic”! this pattern ended up having 29 pieces, 6 different fabrics and a hell of a lot of my time! I can’t post the pattern as it would take me about a week to put it into the program for it! This project was definitely challenging, did my head in! It is all silk including the lining, and the see through parts were finished off with a fray-stop, which in the future I wouldn’t do, I would just have it made in a synthetic and get it laser cut because after putting it on and off the mannequin and the girl it started to fray a bit!

    The dress doesn’t really fit the girl! she is tiny, but has big hips and no boobs! I ran out of time before I had to submit this as an assignment to find an actual model to fit it so I had to use a friend :P
