I bought the tartan whilst on holiday in Edinburgh last summer and decided to knit a jumper to match.

Skirt: from vintage Simplicity 8042, 1.5m of 100% wool tartan from Geoffrey’s Weaving Mill, Edinburgh.
Blouse: ‘Liverpool’ by Amy Butler, 1.5m of cotton shirting.a
