Yeah, I know Oona did it first. Yeah, I know her photos are better. Yeah, I know she’s got a great story behind it and gets her own feature on The Sew Weekly….but I got to use up three old mismatched buttons from my button jar (hey, I’ve got to claim some victory here!)

End of a bolt of quilting cotton with an awkward chunk cut out of one end, but I still managed to squeeze a tunic length out of it; black bias binding; old mismatched buttons.

Thanks everybody! It’s such an easy pattern to mess around with; alter the neckline, change the pleating (some folks here have released the pleat at the bottom like I did here, some reversed the pleating, some accented it differently), change the length…..
