sorbetto shirting material

Colette patterns sorbetto pattern with the sew weekly add on for sleeves. On a recent trip to Vancouver I went to a store called “dress sew”. Good thing I had to pack my purchases in my carry on or I would of gone mad with purchases. Anyhow I bought the organza flowers ready made. The shirt took a couple of hours to make. I wore it to work and it was nice to wear. The shirting material is normally for men’s summer shirts. Very latino. This time I took the material because it was so cool on the skin during the hotter weather. I am probably going to make some tailored fitted knee length skirts to balance the girlishness of the top.

Material Notes

blue shirting material, organza flower embellishment, bias tape from a pillow cushion that was left over from making a dress form mini pin cushion project.
