Step 6
Hem the bloomers while making the elastic casing. Fold up and press at 5/8”, then fold up and press again at 1 1/2”. Topstitch at 1 1/2” from the edge, all the way around the pantleg, and again at 1”, but leaving a small opening to feed the elastic through. Repeat for both legs.
Waistband. The waistband elastic casing is created exactly the same way as the hem.
