Burda Style For people who sew

Got the pattern (View 118B) from Burdastyle magazine (10/2010) Made the ties shorter and narrower though. =) The smallest size in the magazine is a little big on me, will make it slightly smaller the next time I use the pattern again.

In the picture, the fit actually looks lovely and not too big! I love the decision of making the ties smaller; very elegant. The birds are nice too.

Hi, headlollipop, thanks for your comments! The top does fit very well at the shoulders, but it’s kinda not very flattering near the waist area at the back. I’d have preferred it to be a bit more fitted. But that would mean I need to add a zipper to the top!
