I happened upon this bright red fabric in Albert Cuyp market and, since it was very cheap, bought 6 meters of it. What a greediness… but with no regrets so far.
The pattern is from Burda Style 3/2012, #127. I did the buttonholes by hand because my ability to deal with the new-old sewing machine I currently own is still limited.

Yes, I agree with your thoughts, red color fabric with cool style. Actually I work with Wheel Chair Lift
shop, but I have passion of tailoring. This is simple but a great style outfit.

I sew a little here and a little there so I don’t know exactly. Maybe a day. Those buttonholes required quite some time to complete.

I have made 4 of these so far. Super easy and flattering. One in Silk, 2 in Voile, and 1 in denim.

Lovely top, lovely fabric, but where’d you get those pants? The details on those are also quite fabulous

Glad to hear you like it! I used pattern size 36 but I didn’t add anything for a seam allowance because I needed size 34 in the end.
