Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I wanted something like last seasons Prada; high waistlines, emphasised curves! old school glamour and this seemed to fit the bill.
I brought it up to date by using a chunky metal zip instead of a hidden zipper and made a feature of it.
It’s based on the pattern 10/2010 Full skirted dress with cut-out bustline #116 if anyone else wants a go! found the pattern was really good on the sizing (sometimes i find other burda patterns come up too big)

Material Notes
Instead of using something like taffeta (which was the recommended fabric) i went for an everyday black cotton. which seems to have worked pretty well.

yes its based on the 10/2010 Full skirted dress with cut-out bustline #116 but for whatever reason it wouldnt let me link to it. i have to say i found it easier that the “advanced” tag they put against it. hope you like!
