Senior thesis for school. Bridal party based on the concept of wearing jeans and a t-shirt to a wedding. The fabrics are all bottom weight hemp cotton blends or organic cotton with denim details like tack buttons and keyhole buttonholes. Great amounts of inspiration taken from the film The Forsyte Saga and portraits by John Singer Sargent particularly Madame X. Groom’s turtleneck is slouchy to resemble a cravat and the corduroy vest has tuxedo points at the collar. All patterns my own.
hemp/cotton denim, hemp/cotton corduroy, hemp/cotton/spandex jersey, organic cotton poplin, tack buttons, zipper

I love the bustles, and the jackets – they are amazing! (And the flower girl is adorable)! Excellent work, wow!
