This is a fun little baby book I made to be sold at a charity event . It took a long time ! There was a lot of applique involved , and as I was rushing to a deadline , i did use soluble fabric glue quite a lot , so I wasn’t having to sew absolutely everything on . The whole design and style of it was taken from a lovely book I got at my local library . Im afraid I cant remember the author ’s name , but I think it was titled ’ Nursery Stitch ’ I highly recommend it , especially the back section where the author had put in special pages with the applique designs ,so you could photocopy them to scale .
lots of different squares of patterned fabric , embroidery floss, water soluble fabric glue sheets, wadding for padding the pages .
